Just starting with N27 Booking? Read the quick start guide to get up and running in minutes. Show / Hide
1. Configure Booking Rules
To configure the Booking Rules, login to N27 as a user with administrator privileges. Select "SITE ADMIN" from the user menu. Select "GENERAL OPTIONS". The three booking rules available to set are as follows:
- Advance Booking Minimum Limit - Users can only make bookings X number of hours from now. This setting does not apply to admin users.
- Advanced Booking Maximum Limit - Users can only make bookings X number of days in advance. This setting does not apply to admin users.
- Minimum Cancellation Period - Users can only cancel booking X number of hours prior to the booking date/time. This setting does not apply to admin users.
2. Email Settings
Do you require an email to be sent to the user when a booking is made?
If yes, select the "SITE ADMIN" menu, then choose "BOOKING CONFIRMATION EMAIL" from the top menu. Toggle the "Enable booking confirmation e-mail" switch to ON.
Do you require a copy of the confirmation email to be sent to yourself?
If yes, toggle the "Send me a copy" option at the bottom of the Booking Confirmation Email page. Enter your email address.
Your N27 system is now configured to allow bookings. It is advised to read the full documentation guide to configure N27 using all of the required features for your business.
3. Creating Users To Make Bookings
Before a user can make bookings online using N27, the user account must be created:- Login to N27 as a user with administrator privileges. Select "USER ADMIN" from the user menu. Select "CREATE A NEW USER OR ADMIN ACCOUNT ".
- Complete the user details as required.
- WARNING: Only grant administrator privileges to users who are administering the booking system. These users can make unlimited bookings outside of the booking rules.
Do you want to use booking credits for your new user, i.e. they can only make bookings if they have credits allocated by an administrator?
If yes, select "MODIFY BOOKING CREDITS FOR AN EXISTING USER" from the "USER ADMIN" menu.
Do you require your users to be able to book more than one slot at a time?
If yes, grant the user Block Booking privileges. Select "MODIFY BLOCK BOOKING PRIVILEGES" from the "USER ADMIN" menu.
Do you want to limit the number of bookings a user can make at any one time?
If yes, select "MODIFY MAX NUMBER OF BOOKINGS FOR A USER" from the "USER ADMIN" menu.

How and when do you bill for N27?
N27 is a month by month service meaning no long term contracts. Payment is made automatically every month until canceled by either the customer or N27.
How does the free trial period work?
Signup and your booking website is created instantly. If you are using the Lite version, it is free, so there is no trial period. The Premium version comes with a free 30 day trial period. The Premium account is then live for 30 days for bookings. You will be sent a notification email 7 days before the end of the trial period, where payment can then be made if you choose to continue using the N27 Booking service. You are under no obligation to continue using the service after the free 30 day trial period has expired, if you do not wish to.
How do I upgrade or downgrade?
Just let us know if you would like to change your account at any time either by email or by using the contact form.Upgrade - If your upgrading from a Lite account to a Premium account, there is no 30 day trial period. A payment request will be sent when the account is upgraded.
Downgrade - If you are downgrading from a Premium account to a Lite account, your account will be adjusted at the end of your billing month.
How do I cancel my account?
Just let us know via e-mail or using the contact form. We always appreciate a few comments on why you have decided to stop using N27, so please let us know.
What types of payment to you accept? Will you take a P.O.? Can you invoice us?
Currently we accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. At this time we only accept payments online so we will not be able to accept a P.O., invoice you, or take an order over the phone.Product
What are the system requirements to use N27 Booking?
Since N27 Booking is hosted on our servers, there's nothing to install and no server/platform requirements to worry about. All you need is a modern web browser with Javascript turned on (N27 Booking officially supports IE 6 and 7, Firefox 1.5 or later on the PC) and an internet connection. N27 Booking does not support IE 5.x on the Mac or PC.
Can we install N27 on our own server?
We don't offer installable versions of any of our products. Our products are only available as hosted products. We maintain the servers, the security, all the updates and improvements so you don't have to worry about anything.
Can you customize N27 for us?
Everyone who uses N27 uses the same version of N27. We don't offer customization options for specific customers. Customers can however change the site colours/branding and logo etc.Administration Guide
